A 3D platformer set in the Blue Mountains. Play as a baby joey, hopping around, solving educational puzzles and finding collectibles to reunite with Mama Roo.

My Role:

My role on Mama Roo was level design, gameplay design, playtesting and balancing, design documentation, and tightening the user experience.

Our team took inspiration from nostalgic 3D platformers such as Banjo-Kazooie, and analysed how they handle level and quest design, adapting what we learnt to fit our unique character controller.

This was a valuable learning experience as it was my first time working and coordinating with a randomly assigned production team to create a fun and engaging game experience in a studio-like environment for a client.

We developed the game that you can see in the video over a span of 2 months.
